Refractory Girl 1997

Refractory Girl was a feminist magazine during the 1980’s – 90’s providing a fascinating insight into the many phases and stages of women’s struggle over two decades.    It was the first Australian women’s studies journal with the ultimate purpose of forcing “an awareness in all those who presume to write about society that the world is not composed entirely of men”.

Marguerite is  honoured to be part of this history and her story was written by Miranda Korzy about Marguerite being a female farmer, wife and mother.
